Museo Italo Americano in SF presents the new exhibit (Mar 1 – Sep 11 2022): “Rhapsody”

SERENA BOCCHINO
Serena’s lively and lyrical abstract paintingencompasses two decades of artmaking. Her diverse range of artistry explores music’s lyricism, melody, and rhythm through soft and loud abstract imagery, while simultaneously incorporating representational movements analogous to dance.

KARA MARIA
Kara’s work reflects on Earth’s biodiversity crisis and the place of animals in our increasingly unstable environment. She borrows from the broad vocabulary of contemporary painting, blending geometric shapes, vivid hues, and abstract marks, with representational elements.

NOLA PARDI PROLL
Nola is an artist who expresses her love of stone and nature’s found objects in her imaginative multi-faceted sculpture. A sense of the primitive pervades her work. Her dance background and her interest in African, Etruscan and Near Eastern art have influenced her approach to stone.
