The Hub is a strategic initiative promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, together with the Embassy of Italy in Washington and the Italian Consulate General in San Francisco, which are also responsible for the supervision of the project.
The Hub is implemented by:
- Italian Trade Agency: the governmental agency that supports the business development of Italian companies abroad and promotes the attraction of foreign investment in Italy.
- Italian Cultural Institute San Francisco: the official branch of the Italian government devoted to the promotion of the Italian language and culture in Coastal Northwest region of the United States.
- Startup and Innovation Services Provider: specialized in acceleration and innovation services for Italian companies, startups, universities, and scientific centers.
Under the INNOV.IT umbrella, the organizations mentioned above implement integrated programs and activities aimed at strengthening the Italian economic, industrial, scientific and cultural system.
