 The Italian Cultural Institute of San Francisco is pleased to welcome the community to this special screening free of charge. Come and join the Italian Cultural Institute in celebrating the spirit of hope and wonder Dante so beautifully captures in the final verse of the Inferno:

DANTE’S INFERNO (L’Inferno di Dante)

 A new digital restoration of the 1911 silent masterpiece, Italy’s first full-length feature film, directed by Francesco Bertolini, Adolfo Padovan, Giuseppe De Liguoro (Italy, 1911, 68 min)

Silent film voiced-over with an English translation and original score performed live by the Sascha Jacobsen Quintet.
